Megan's love for health is what brought her to the field initially as a health/nutrition coach and Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher over 12 years ago.  Through her journey of self discovery, teaching, and counseling individuals, she learned how limited we become by our own mind,  subconscious programming and belief system. This new awareness shifted her perspective on life and personal challenges with healing, and so she dove deeper into understanding the self outside of the mind and body by studying neuroscience, spirituality, and energy psychology more extensively.  In her sessions, she incorporates traditional psychotherapy, as well as practical tools to help clients expand awareness of their true nature outside of  the “limited”self,  balance their energy systems, and implements self care practices with clients.

Megan has experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and adults in private practice, in alternative health centers, and rehabilitation facilities over the last  six years, but is moving away from working with children. She typically treats clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self esteem, poor stress management, adjustment disorders,  psychosomatic illnesses, and health conditions.

Megan is also a certified ADHD professional and specializes in using strategies in her Self Mastery Coaching program to help clients manage ADHD and executive function weaknesses, which can include poor impulse control, hyperactivity and restlessness, poor emotion regulation, trouble focusing and maintaining concentration, poor time management, and basically just feeling overwhelmed or trouble keeping up.

Megan's style is heart centered and compassionate, and modalities she uses  are infused from brain-based coaching, EMDR therapy, somatic therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, narrative therapy, neuroscience, and aromatherapy.
